WSH Bulletin – Confined space videos
WSH Council had recently launched a series of confined space videos
highlighting the hazards associated with confined space operations and the
necessary safety measures to protect workers. Personnel involved in confined
space works will find these safety videos especially useful.
The videos include an animated
case study of
a past incident where a confined space surveyor lost his life while working
inside a tank aboard a vessel. The safety lapses uncovered served as valuable
learning points for the industry. Non adherence to safety procedures and a
lack of emergency response system were among
the lapses highlighted.
Other videos available include an
